About the Area 2 Club
Welcome to the wonderful world of American Shetland Ponies, American Miniature Horses and American Show Ponies.  The members of Area 2 are delighted that you are here.  The official name of Area II is the Shetland Pony and Miniature Horse Breeders Association, Inc.; and we are a  recognized regional club of the American Shetland Pony Club, the American Miniature Horse Registry and the American Show Pony Registry.  Area 2 includes Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Central Ontario, Canada. You are not required to live in Area 2 to be an Area 2 member.  If you are interested in becoming a member of Area 2, please see the membership page.  There are several additional local clubs that are under the jurisdiction of Area 2.
